Refund Policy
With 010SMS you only pay for numbers that receive a code. If no code arrives, the amount you paid goes back to your credit automatically. (Effective 2026-10-21)

1. Scope of this policy
This Refund Policy applies to all virtual numbers bought on the 010sms.com website and through the API (handler_api), and to account credit top-ups. The website and API share the same credit and rules.
2. Automatic refund when no code arrives
Each number is yours for 20 minutes from the moment you buy it. If not a single verification SMS arrives in that time, the full amount paid goes back to your credit as soon as the time ends. No request needed, and it shows as "Time up, refunded" on your numbers screen and in your history.
3. Cancel anytime before a code arrives
If you change your mind after getting a number or need a number for another service, cancel it right away with the Cancel button on your numbers screen (setStatus 8 in the API) before a code arrives. The full amount paid goes back to your credit instantly.
4. When a number is not available right away
If a number for the chosen service cannot be provided at that moment, you are not charged. Your credit stays the same, and you can choose another number type or try again shortly.
5. Numbers that received a code
A number counts as paid once at least one verification SMS arrives. You pay only for codes received, so even if sign-up at the service is not completed after you get the code, that number price is not refundable. Whether a service accepts the number is up to that service.
6. Getting more codes on the same number
Within 20 minutes, you receive every code sent to the same number at no extra cost. Even services that send two codes, such as a login check, need just one number.
7. Numbers bought through the API
Numbers bought through the API get the same automatic and cancellation refunds as on the web. When getStatus returns STATUS_CANCEL, the number price is already back in your credit.
8. Top-up credit and bonuses
- Your top-up credit is used to buy 010SMS numbers. All number refunds also go back to your credit, ready for your next number.
- The top-up bonus arrives together with your top-up and is used for buying numbers only.
- Your credit and bonuses stay in your account with no expiry.
- If you need help with a remaining credit, contact Support. We will check your account and top-up records and advise you based on your case.
9. When the amount sent differs from the screen
Send the exact amount shown, including decimals, for automatic confirmation. If a slightly different amount arrives, we confirm it based on the amount received and credit it.
10. Sent on a different network
If you send on a network different from the one shown on the top-up screen (e.g. TRC20, BEP20), it cannot be confirmed automatically. In that case, contact Support with your top-up number (T-...) and transaction ID (TXID). We will check the blockchain record and let you know the options.
11. Suspended accounts
If an account is suspended for breaking the usage rules, active numbers with no code are refunded normally and new purchases are blocked. Refunds may be withheld for illegal use such as fraud, spam or account takeover.
12. Contact and response time
For refund questions, log in and contact Support (1:1 inquiry). Inquiries open for accounts with at least 1 credited top-up. Including the number (N-...) or top-up number (T-...) helps us check faster, and you get the reply on the same screen.
13. Policy changes
When the Refund Policy changes, we announce it on this page first with the effective date. Numbers and top-ups bought before the change follow the policy in effect at that time.
